Meet Michelle Briggs
Founder of Love On · Kirkwood, MO
Most small business owners don't need more technology. They need someone who can make it simple.
I'm Michelle Briggs, and that's what Love On is for. I'm a third-generation entrepreneur: my parents opened their first retail store in Maryland Heights in 1989, and still own it to this day. My grandfather owned a grocery store and delicatessen in St. Ann for his entire life. I grew up in these stores, stocking shelves and helping out where help was needed. I saw firsthand the commitment and work ethic it takes to build something of your own.
I also learned that every customer matters, relationships are personal, and your reputation is built through how consistently you show up for people. Those lessons have stayed with me throughout my career.
I've been on the people side of technology since 2008, working with some of the most brilliant minds around. I understand technology, but I also understand most people don't have the background that makes it easy. That's where Love On comes in: it helps small business owners connect the dots and grow without the complexity technology sometimes creates.
Small businesses are the backbone of this city. My web pages are simple, beautiful, and optimized for internet searches and AI generated searches — so it helps others find you, and in turn helps your business grow.

What is included?

Every page is optimized for internet searches and AI generated searches. No booking system, no online shop. Because of the simplicity of the web page, there is no maintenance needed. There is no ongoing maintenance included in the package. Once you purchase the web page, it is yours.
Can I choose my fonts, colors, reviews and tagline?

Yes. You can pick your fonts, colors, which of your customer reviews to feature, your tagline, and more. Or let us set it all up completely on your behalf.
Who hosts the page?

Your website is hosted on Cloudflare, with GitHub used to store and manage your website files. Both services offer free accounts that you'll need to set up as part of the process. Don't worry if you've never heard of them! We'll provide simple, step-by-step instructions and guide you through everything. You won't need any technical knowledge, and we'll take care of building your website for you.
Do I need a domain name?

No, it's optional. If you want a custom domain name (like yourbusiness.com), you purchase it and cover any ongoing costs. Love On can recommend very inexpensive options.
What if I need changes later?

Ongoing maintenance is not included. Later changes — such as new hours of operation or a new phone number — are a one-time $100 fee per change session. That is not $100 per change: we can make up to 10 changes in a single change session.
How long does it take?

We can have your first preview of the new web page to you within 24 hours. With typical full handover completed within 5 business days. The timeline is entirely dependent on how quickly you can get back to us with approvals or changes before it is published. Note: If you choose to purchase a new custom domain name, that can take up to 72 hours from the moment of purchase to fully register on the internet, which could delay final handover.
What forms of payment are accepted?

Mastercard, Visa or Venmo are all accepted, but will be subject to a $15 fee to cover the cost of the transaction. In which case, the total due would be $515 instead of $500. The preferred method of payment is check, but the payment will have to clear the bank before the website will be transferred to the customer. There may be a delay if the check takes a while to clear.
